Dance the Goddess Within to Celebrate International Women's Month
March 3rd at 5PM to 6:30PM

Open the visceral door of your body, move within a circle to connect to your inner feminine wisdom. Join award-winning choreographer and master teacher Nejla Yatkin to explore and create movements inspired by patterns in Nature. Participants will be guided through a process of harnessing multiple practices including; Reiki, Feldenkrais, physical theater exercises, and contemporary dance. The workshop will open new pathways in the way we experience ourselves through movement.
“Everything in life moves. The human body is designed to engage with the environment through movement. Throughout a lifetime of choreographing, teaching, and dancing around the globe, I have learned how beneficial dance is to human development. Dance sharpens the senses, enhances social intelligence, challenges the body and mind and consequently reinvigorates our cognitive, physical and social development. In this workshop we will explore what moves people and how the collective energy inspires people to move.” –Nejla Yatkin
For everyone of any age, who wants to experiment with movement, discover new expressive range, and sharpen the senses. Open to all who have a passion for moving their body. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a silk scarf to dance with.
